Hearsay + Smokeball Integration:
Hearsay is a SaaS platform where native evidence gets collected and reviewed - emails directly from inboxes, text messages directly from mobile devices, and transaction history directly from the bank accounts. Smokeball is where the matter lives. The integration keeps those two in sync so attorneys don't have to move files by hand, maintain two parallel case lists, or keep billing in sync.
What syncs, once connected:
- Inbound documents — pull documents from a linked Smokeball matter into Hearsay.
- Auto-create cases — when a new matter is created in Smokeball, a corresponding Hearsay case is created automatically. (Demoed live: created a new matter and contact in Smokeball, and the case appeared in Hearsay as "Smokeball linking demo.")
- Outbound files — case files uploaded to Hearsay sync back into Smokeball.
- Collected evidence — when native data sources are collected (email, mobile, bank), the data is automatically exported in the right format and pushed to Smokeball on request.
Each of these is an independent toggle, so a firm can run the integration one-directionally if they prefer.
